One of the things that came to my mind regarding this point is a
conversation that I had with a local German pastor. He invited me to start an
English service focused to serve internationals in the city of Osnabrück.
During the conversation and explanation of the ideas, I mentioned one very
fundamental and powerful thing able to give us wisdom to take the best
decisions. I mentioned the fact of the guidance of the Holy Spirit giving us
clear directions regarding this idea. I suggested times of praying and fasting
with others that have the same understanding. After mentioned that, basing my
argument on Acts 13.1-4, I clearly saw a changing behavior in this German
pastor focusing more in being able to listen to what the Holy Spirit wants from
us. This is the movement that we need in the missionary field - the most pure
guidance and voice of the Holy Spirit. That may look basic, but it is the most
powerful start of any project, and I‘m glad to bring to the conversation this
kind of advice and notes.
