Developing Future Leaders

The OCGA is launching a new effort to develop emerging leaders. Last year, we made it a priority to become a more humble and empowering space for the next generation. In response, we are introducing a new initiative called "Stepping Up."

The purpose of Stepping Up is to intentionally cultivate and reproduce servant leaders across the OC Global Alliance by fostering intergenerational relationships, equipping leaders to understand the times, and preparing a diverse pipeline for current and future ministry roles.

Rooted in Scripture and aligned with the mission of the Global Alliance, this initiative strengthens leadership capacity at the local, regional, and global levels so the GA can serve faithfully in an increasingly complex ministry context.

Stepping Up is a timely and faithful response to the OCGA’s need for prepared, discerning, and reproducing servant leaders. Shaped by biblical conviction and today’s ministry realities, it recognizes that leadership development is essential to sustaining and advancing God’s mission in a rapidly changing world.

By cultivating intergenerational relationships, equipping emerging leaders to understand the times, and creating clear pathways for leadership growth and succession, the GA demonstrates its commitment to stewarding both people and purpose well. This initiative honors the wisdom and faithfulness of senior leaders while empowering the next generation to step forward with humility, courage, and competence.
