As we enter the first weeks of 2026, it is a good time to pause and reflect on last year. 2025 was a great year for the Global Alliance. At our leadership gathering in Guatemala we renewed our vision to multiply leaders, plant churches, and disciple all nations and reaffirmed our commitment to working together as an Alliance. Out of those meetings came seven new outcomes that we are striving toward as an Alliance. These outcomes relate to our growth, mobilization, member care, research, and development of the next generation of leaders. Great work was done to identify these things that we will be working toward collaboratively.
God provided well for our ministry. We were able to meet all of our financial commitments in 2025 and finish the year with funds that can carry forward to support our work this year. We are so grateful to everyone who stands with us financially and in prayer.
This year we are launching a new NextGen Leader initiative. The Hub Team is designing a program to engage with our younger leaders around the world to listen to them and invite their participation in the shaping of our future. We are designing a program that will incorporate mentoring, group learning, virtual meetings and a face to face gathering later in the year. We are excited to be a humble, empowering space for the next generation. We will provide more information in the weeks to come as the program becomes more formalized.
Three members of the Hub team are participating in the MissioNexus NextGen mentoring cohort this year to learn how to understand and communicate effectively with the next generation. We are thankful for the opportunity to learn in community with some of our ministry partners.
Launching a new App! Speaking of Next Gen leaders, one of our workers in an Asian country has been developing a new App to assist with their disciple making movement. They are leveraging simple technology to help make disciples of Jesus more accessible and provide ongoing tools for support, development, and multiplication. This will also help with the great challenge of measuring growth, both spiritual and numerical in this movement. Listening to the designer share the concept and how it has moved into live testing is exciting and his enthusiasm is contagious. We will share more stories this year about innovations in ministry and fruitful practices that are having an impact for the Kingdom.
