OCGA Diaspora Ministry

Many of our OCGA teams are involved in diaspora ministry around the world.  We have projects in North America, working with the many immigrant and refugee communities that are now part of the cultural mosaic of the USA and Canada.  This is a direct response to Jesus' command to love our neighbor.

• 13.9% of US residents are foreign born. (46 million in 2023)
• 23% of Canadian Residents are foreign born.
• Canada welcomes approximately half a million people per year - 1.3% of population per year.

We also have projects in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Africa that focus on ministry to, and with refugees and other migrant people that are seeking to find their place in their new homes.
