This session is designed to provide a basic understanding of the OC Global Alliance, including our history, what makes us unique, and what that might mean for new OC personnel.
Session Priorities:
Brief History – Why did we form the alliance is important to empower and catalyze more growth and collaboration from our partners for expanded cross-cultural missions. (From everywhere to everywhere)
General understanding of what makes us unique – the nature of a polycentric mission structure, flat leadership, equality, relational accountability, empowerment, learning from each other, etc.
How the OCGA may impact a local team – Specific to the USA, how do US teams and fields relate to other OCGA partners? When multiple MCs are in the same country, etc.
How the OCGA may impact you – very specifically, how much of this will have any effect on the individual missionary. Celebrating something larger than ourselves, learning from others, partnering with others, working with internationals on the same team, etc.
